Family Liaison
Our Parent Support Advisor is Miss Glen.
Miss Glen is also part of the Safeguarding and Attendance Team.
Miss Glen's role involves a wide range of support, including general parenting advice, behaviour management, setting routine and positive boundaries, managing finances, addiction and recovery, housing issues, bereavement and separation.
We always try our best to support our families and children in house; however, we also work closely with many local services and organisations that can help us to help you. We can work together to refer to the right service at the right time.
Please do get in touch with any questions or concerns that you may have.

Young Carers/Adult Carers:
At Wensum Junior School, we recognise that some children may help or care for a family member at home. These young carers show incredible kindness and responsibility, and we are here to support them.
We have a dedicated group called “The Care Crew”, which meets once a month. This group provides a safe, supportive space where children can connect with others who may have similar responsibilities at home, share experiences, and take part in fun, wellbeing-focused activities.
Our aim is to ensure every young carer feels valued, understood, and supported to thrive both in school and at home.
If your child helps to care for someone and you feel that they would benefit from additional support, please let us know so we can offer the right help for them to succeed both at school and at home.
Your Young Carers Leads at Wensum Junior are Miss Glen and Miss Carney.
